Is there a way to personalise my site for a club/community?

Hello,

I sell Sports Nutrition to athletes and I’d like to offer a specific site for running/cycling clubs so that they can buy things and get specific discounts/offers for their club. I would like to brand a site with my logo alongside the clubs to create the look of a joint site for them.

Does anyone know of a way to achieve this?

Thanks,

To create a branded site for running/cycling clubs where they can access specific discounts/offers, you can follow these steps:

  1. Create a separate Shopify store: Set up a new Shopify store specifically for running/cycling clubs. This will allow you to have a dedicated website for the clubs with its own branding.

  2. Customize the theme: Choose a theme for the new store that aligns with your branding. Customize the theme to incorporate your logo and create the desired look and feel for the joint site. You can modify the colors, typography, and layout to match your branding and create a cohesive design.

  3. Configure discounts and offers: Set up specific discounts and offers for running/cycling clubs in your new Shopify store. You can use Shopify’s built-in discount features or install an app from the Shopify App Store to create customized discount codes or offer exclusive pricing for club members. Configure the discounts and offers according to your requirements.

  4. Branding and collaboration: Collaborate with running/cycling clubs to gather their logos and branding assets. Incorporate their logos alongside your own on the joint site to create a branded look for each club. This can be achieved by customizing the theme’s header, footer, or other sections where you want to display the club logos. You may need to modify the theme code or use custom sections/blocks to achieve the desired branding effect.

  5. Communicate with clubs: Reach out to running/cycling clubs and inform them about the joint site. Provide them with the URL and any necessary login details or instructions for accessing the club-specific discounts and offers.

  6. Marketing and promotion: Promote the joint site to running/cycling clubs through various channels such as email marketing, social media, or direct outreach. Highlight the benefits of accessing exclusive discounts and offers through the joint site and encourage club members to make purchases.

Thank you for your speedy reply.

Would that mean that I would need to create a new site for each club? I’m looking to engage with 10’s maybe 100+ clubs so that wouldn’t be cost effective. Do you know if there’s a different way to achieve this?

Thanks,

Adam

You can achieve this by creating a subdomain for your website, such as “clubs.yourdomain.com,” and then creating a separate online store specifically for running/cycling clubs. You can customize the design of the store to include your branding and logo alongside the clubs’ logos to create a joint site.

To offer specific discounts and offers to the clubs, you can create unique coupon codes or discount codes that they can use at checkout to receive the discounts. You can also create a separate pricing structure for the club members, which they can access by logging in to their account on the club site.

To promote the club site, you can reach out to running/cycling clubs in your area and offer them the opportunity to participate in the program.

You can also advertise the club site on your main website and social media channels. You can use Social Schedular app to Auto Post your products to Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

Hi @Adam_Beard

If you are still looking for a solution, the Team Stores app now solves for creation of club-specific micro sites with their own branding, and with specific discounts for each one. Please reach out to me if you have any questions / or need help.

Here is a quick demo of some of the features:
