We are a small team that look after a few clients on Shopify. We want to know the right way to use 2 factor authentication across our team. We have had several issues:
(A) Issue A… one member of our team enables 2 factor using the App. But this means the rest of the team need the code from that member every single time they want to login. We are a remote team and its a hassle to always wait for the code. There has to be a better way. What is it? How do bigger teams work with this?
(B) Issue B … we’ve tried to remove the 2 factor altogether… but some members are unable to log into Shopify Partners at all… we get a message saying this store requires two factor authy. Some members of our team can access the Partner platform without requiring 2 factor authy. So this is inconsistent and causing us problems.
Please provide some guidance as this has become very frustrating and we are unable to work efficiently.
