I purchased a gift from a Shopify store for my husband in November. I received confirmation of the order and a purchase receipt, but I never received the item. The store name is Motivinci (motivinvi.com)
I emailed them several times in December to inquire about my package, but I never received a response. I also reported it through the Shopify app, but nothing came of that either. Since that time of year is always hectic, I decided to get something else for him and moved on.
As a last-ditch effort, I emailed them again yesterday, but the email bounced back, and when I clicked the link for my order, it no longer existed. I checked the order on my Shopify app, and when I clicked on it, it said the store had no products. I looked them up on Google and discovered that they have changed their website to a UK store, Motivinci.co, which is also a Shopify site.
I’ve used many Shopify stores to purchase items and was so disappointed that I was scammed. How can I have this matter investigated and my money recovered?
