Hi there,
I made a lot of mistakes in my first store, so, I decided to start from scratch. I grabbed Dawn Theme and created the new store.
I deleted all the apps before, eliminated Hotjar, made a more compact page and did all the imaged compressing by myself. It is great, the website went from 12s to fully load to 3.6s in average.

But, not everything was great. The store is having Javascript errors on 8,5% of the sessions. We added Clarity to the store, allowing us to see how this errors affect the user experience. Sometimes they can’t interact with the store from the start.
Side note, we added Google Tagteam and Clarity by code. We don’t understand much about code, we just watch some tutorials and added them to the store and that was made from the start, so, we have no way to compare and check if this is related to the errors or not.
I don’t know anyone that understands Liquid code. I heard about Shopify Experts, but, I’m not sure if they are ideal to work on this issue.
I would be happy if someone recommends someone to fix this problem. I should say the budget is limited.
Thank you for your help.

Hello there
It’s great to hear that you were able to improve your store’s performance by optimizing the page speed and compressing images. However, the JavaScript errors are concerning and can negatively impact the user experience and your store’s performance.
It sounds like you’ve made significant improvements to your store’s loading speed, which is fantastic! Reducing the load time from 12s to 3.6s is a huge accomplishment, but I understand the frustration with the JavaScript errors affecting user interaction.
Since you’re dealing with Liquid code and aren’t too familiar with coding, I’d recommend finding a developer with Shopify expertise. You can explore Shopify Experts, as they specialize in resolving issues like yours and can probably help troubleshoot the JavaScript errors. Even with a limited budget, some freelancers or small agencies offer affordable services.
Additionally, you might want to revisit how you added Google Tag Manager and Clarity. It’s possible that some incorrect implementations could be causing the JavaScript issues. Getting a second pair of eyes on your code could help pinpoint the problem.
Best of luck with your new store! It’s great to see how much progress you’ve already made.
