At the bottom of my page is a button that says “English” but it doesn’t actually do anything. How do I fix this or delete this?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure it gets resolved. To gather a bit more context, are you able to share what translation app is currently being used?
If the app Shopify Translate & Adapt is being used, you can allow customers to select their preferred language by enabling language selectors within your theme. This feature is built into all free Shopify themes and can be achieved by completing the following steps:
- From the Shopify admin, head into Settings > Languages.
- Select the Add Language button.
- Add the language of your choice (i.e Spanish) and select Add.
- Select Publish to successfully add the language to your online shop.
Once all desired languages have successfully been added and published, you can then enable the language selector within your theme. To achieve this, you can:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
- Search your theme settings for Enable language selector. It could be in the theme settings, footer or header depending on your theme and the theme developer.

If you are not currently using a free Shopify theme, you will want to view any support documentation for your theme or contact the theme developer. Additionally, the Geolocation App can be used to add language and country selectors to any theme.

Your store has no translations, which is why the language doesn’t change when you select a different language. Perhaps it wasn’t clear that Adding a language requires you to then add translations?
