I’m editing my Shopify theme in VS Code and my .liquid files used to show a Liquid language mode in the editor but now that option is missing.
At the moment, VS Code only shows things like HTML, CSS, JSON, Binary, etc. and sometimes my .liquid files get treated as plain text or binary instead of Liquid.
Has anyone run into this before?
Is this normal with the Shopify extension now, or is something broken in my VS Code setup?
I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Got the same issue, started sometime in the last couple of hours. Likely due to this error you can see in the browser console:

Sigh these are the MERCHANT forums.
Location location location this is like going to a showroom in mall looking for a carberoatur instead of going to the local auto parts store.
For dev issues use an actual dev forum , minimal amount of effort to DRASTICALL Yincreases your chances of better issue resolution for devs.
If it’s about specific tool find the actual repo or tangential so internal teams might possibly see the complaint someday
e.g. https://shopify.dev/docs/storefronts/themes/tools/cli/language-server , https://github.com/Shopify/theme-tools/
