Hello, I’m looking for a flexible Shopify app that supports cashback functionality. Specifically, I want customers to earn cashback when they make a purchase and then be able to use the cashback amount for future purchases. Ideally, the app should be easy to manage and customizable. If no app fits this requirement, is there a way to add this feature manually? Any recommendations or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Fatina, what you are referring to is called “Store Credit” instead of “Cashback”
The reason for this is that if you issue cashback to your customers, they don’t necessarily come back to your store for future purchases, since that money can be spent anywhere.
However, if you issue store credit, your customers can not spend it anywhere but your store. This is what makes them come back for future purchases.
Shopify has its own native store credit in the admin menu that can be toggled on. However, if you want a more complex functional setup. You will still need a 3rd-party app. After trying out what’s available on the market, I’d say Koin is the best right now, since they are free and they integrate with Shopify-native store credit
