What feedback do you want?
I would like to utilise the purchase orders a lot more, as our theme works with them to give information to customers about preorders. It is a lot of manual work, and I would like to give the feedback that
A) We should be able to upload a purchase order via CSV
B) We should be able to bulk edit and delete / archive / mark as delivered the purchase orders.
Not sure if you have seen the recent updates to the Shopify Admin Purchase Orders but you can do a lot more!
A - you can now import a CSV to create a Purchase Order
B - when you Mark as Ordered you can “Create Transfer” - this connects it to a Transfer where you can bulk receive items in a transfer
This is a really common frustration with POs, so worth knowing your options.
Charlie’s right that Shopify has added some native PO tooling recently — worth trying that first since it’s built in and free. Depending on how your theme reads POs for the preorder display, native may be enough.
Full disclosure: I build a Shopify inventory + PO app called EZStock, so I’m biased — but since you described exactly what it does, I’ll mention it. It covers both things you asked for:
CSV → purchase orders — upload a CSV and it creates the POs (groups line items by PO number, matches suppliers by name). It was originally built to migrate people off Stocky, but it’s the same “build a PO from a spreadsheet instead of by hand” workflow you’re describing.
Bulk actions on the PO list — select multiple POs and bulk-cancel or bulk-archive them; you can also mark POs paid and receive them to update Shopify inventory.
One honest caveat: it’s a separate PO system from Shopify’s native one, so if your theme specifically reads Shopify’s built-in POs for the preorder badges, that’s worth checking before switching — happy to help you figure out if it fits.

This seems like a very practical feature request, especially for brands that rely on preorders or small batch production.
For stores selling handmade or artisanal products, purchase orders often do more than manage incoming inventory they also help communicate expected availability to customers. When purchase orders are updated manually one at a time, the process becomes increasingly time-consuming as the catalog grows.
Adding support for:
CSV import of Purchase Orders, and
Bulk actions such as edit, archive, delete, or mark as delivered,
would significantly improve operational efficiency while reducing the risk of manual errors. These capabilities already exist in many other areas of Shopify, so extending similar bulk management tools to Purchase Orders would make them much more practical for merchants who use them as part of their inventory and preorder workflow.
I think this would be a valuable enhancement for any business managing frequent supplier deliveries or preorder inventory.

Regarding your feature request, I think both suggestions would make purchase orders much more practical for merchants managing larger inventories or preorders:
CSV import for purchase orders would save a significant amount of manual data entry, especially when working with supplier spreadsheets.
Bulk actions (edit, archive, delete, or mark as delivered) would make ongoing purchase order management far more efficient, particularly for stores receiving multiple shipments or updating many POs at once.
Since your preorder messaging relies on purchase order data, improving these workflows would not only save admin time but also help keep customers informed with more accurate availability information. I think these enhancements would benefit many merchants, not just those in the fashion industry.
The native CSV import and transfer workflow should cover most of this now, but I’d test it on one small PO before changing your full preorder process.
Export your supplier sheet to CSV, import it as a PO, and check that SKUs, quantities, supplier, and expected arrival dates match.
Mark the PO as ordered, then use Create transfer. Receive items in bulk from the transfer when stock arrives.
Test one partial delivery too. Preorders can show the wrong date or availability if the theme expects the PO to be fully received.
Keep a copy of every imported CSV. Shopify’s bulk archive/delete options are still more limited than product bulk editing, so the source file is useful if anything needs rebuilding.
Also confirm which PO field your theme uses for preorder dates before archiving old POs.
