Make slideshow images on homepage clickable and hide button in Berlin theme

I want to make the entire slideshow image clickable without the need for a button. Within the theme I can set the collection the button links to, is there a way I can use this to make the entire image clickable by editing the code? I did it with an old version of Berlin theme but am unable to replicate since updating it to latest version. Thanks!

  1. Go to Online Store
  2. Edit Code
  3. Find theme.liquid file
  4. Add the following code just above tag
