I am looking for a messaging app that can be accessed when a customer is logged in to their ‘My Account’, basically the same as eBay messages, so I do not need to rely 100% on emails getting through and not bouncing, they can see their message and my replies when the login
The aim is to allow communication, with full message history, with my customers from their account when they are logged in as opposed to it all going through email only
Is there such an app available?

There isn’t an app that I am aware of that will house your messages with customers in their customer accounts. We do have Shopify Ping, which is designed to be a central inbox for conversations for merchants, no matter where those conversations are happening. Shopify Ping is a messaging app that allows you to manage messages to your customers and to your team from one place and is available on shopifyping.com.
I love this app because it allows your customers to chat with messaging apps that they are likely acquainted with, like Facebook Messenger and Apple Business Chat so they don’t have to download a different app to chat with your business. Shopify Ping also comes with Shopify Chat which lets customers reach you while they shop. You can also read messages and respond to customers through your desktop or mobile device.
