Metafield image as header collection image

Hi I’m set up an e-commerce where I would like to show different header images based on the collection where you are.

Example:

if you are in olive oil collection the header image have to be a bottle of oil;

if you are in honey collection the header image have to be a an honey jar;

and so on…

Theme is: barberry

to log in there is a psw: Vaigustando123 (you have to click in black square on top left of screen to access to psw)

Actually header image is under a theme setting issue is that all section are actually show the same image.

To make it dynamic I generated a metafield (image) to support image dinamically in the page:

the metafield is named: custom.sfondo_personalizzato

How to update the page to make this image header dynamic?

So if you are using the DAWN theme you don’t need to do that with a metafield. You can just add the collection image on the backend in the collection.

products > collections > your collection

The only other thing to do is go to

online-shop > themes > your theme

and klick on the customize button

Then select the template for your collection and klick on “show collection image”

It sounds more complex but it actually very easy
