Hi everyone!

I am building a public app I have plans to use metafields for collection third party information about a customer.
After my application installed on the Shopify marketplace, all new customers will be fille required metafields.
But. I have a question, what about existing customers(who created accounts before a public app with metafields was installed)? How can I ask them to add the required information to existing accounts for new purchases?

It depends which information you will ask them to give you and how many customers you have… It could be an email, it could be a pop up, a call, etc. One thing for sure though, you will have to get them to send you the information if it is not already saved on your system.
