Metafields: Public Read - Private write

Just found out about the new private metafields and really like them :slight_smile:

There would be a third use case that we have encountered before. That would be metafileds that are public READABLE - but only private (meaning by the app that created them) writeable.

The use case would be that we could expose information to other apps that may use it, but prevent them from changing them - and making sure they can’t interfere with our data integrity.

That’s a fantastic idea @GerwinB . If the product team behind this one hasn’t thought of that use case yet, I’ll make sure they hear about it. I definitely see the validity of that.
