A user encountered an issue where metaobject entries for podcast guests suddenly display as cryptic strings (e.g., “Past Guests #MON3EGTX”) instead of proper names on their website.

I am using Metaobjects to manage a list of Podcast guests to my show. It has been working well until today. All of a sudden when I enter a contact, it changes their first name to the weird string in the screenshot below. (i.e. Past Guests #MON3EGTX)

Hello,
It looks like you haven’t filled out the Display Name field or don’t have one set up. To fix this, go to your metaobject and click Manage Definition.
You should see a field labeled “Display Name”.
If not, click the field you want to use as the display name and select “Use this field as Display Name.”
