Yes, but it’s not as straightforward as with Google. Bing does support rich snippets, including reviews, but it doesn’t have a dedicated Merchant Center review feed like Google. Instead, Bing relies on structured data (Schema.org markup) within your Shopify store to recognize and display reviews in search results.
How to Make It Work:#### 1. Enable Opinew’s Structured Data (JSON-LD)
Opinew automatically adds review schema markup (JSON-LD) to your product pages. You need to ensure this is working correctly:
- In your Shopify store, go to Opinew > Settings > SEO & Rich Snippets.
- Make sure “Enable Rich Snippet JSON-LD” is turned on.
2. Validate with Bing Webmaster Tools
Even though Bing doesn’t have a “review feed” system like Google, it still reads structured data.
- Head to Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Use the URL Inspection Tool to check if Bing recognizes your structured data.
- If your reviews are detected but not showing in search results, it may take time for Bing to index them.
3. Submit a Fresh Sitemap to Bing
Sometimes, Bing needs a little push to re-crawl your updated structured data. To speed up the process:
- In Shopify, go to Online Store > Preferences and make sure your sitemap is correct.
- Submit your sitemap.xml in Bing Webmaster Tools > Sitemaps.
