I was looking for some help changing the drop down menu button to be the + icon and add the lines to separate each drop. attached a picture of what it looks like now and what I want it to look like

To do that you need to customize code,
You get an icon plus by svg format then you change it for icon dropdown. To find where you need change, you can go to Admin → Online Store → Theme → Customize Code → Snippets folder.
Currently, i check on your site the dropdown menu not working when click to title.

I guess, you are make change some thing on it.
To fixed that issue, you need check in code file directly.
