I tried many dimensions and I cant get the desktop view of my banner to be clear. Its also really big, I’m looking for advice to also make it smaller.

Your source image is 1200px wide, it will be blurry on a 1920px wide screen.
So, load bigger image, theme will resize it to fit the visitors screen.
Do not use PNG – it will be too heavy and will slow your site.
Use JPEG instead even though Shopify will probably serve WEBP anyway.
