Hi, I have ticked the box on the product page to use Product Recommendations. It was fine at the beginning. Somehow one day it is no longer showing. How can I get it back?
Some articles say it’s because the system hasn’t collected enough data to make recommendations. No, don’t think so. It worked before even when I was still building the site.
Can someone help please?
Currently I have to pay to use the Related Product app to cover the missing function.
This issue happens becoz of shopify’s url based collection.
-If you go to product page via collection page, then the url has product’s collection handle, therefore it can show related product from same collection.
In your store, it requires to change the code for related products.

How did you fix your product recommendations? I have a store under development, and recommendations showed up fine for a month, but suddenly today it is empty.
Never mind, it seems to be better now. I had only two products in a collection, so I added a 3rd as a test and made its description match one of the existing, and recommendations came back. Curiously, when I removed the 3rd produc it still works.
