Can someone help me fully understand what fees are taken out when you make a sale? I thought that you are charged 2.9% + 0.30 per sale but that doesn’t seem to be adding up. More than that is being taken from my payouts. Can someone please help me understand this correctly? It would be much appreciated!
Example of my payout is below:
Sale: $81.00 | Fee: $5.08. | Payout: $75.92
2.9% of $81 is $2.35
So shouldn’t the fee be $2.35 + 0.30 = $2.65
What am I missing here?
Hi, @WTurner . We wouldn’t be able to advise on the specific fees you’re charged per order as this depends on a number of nuianced factors like where you are located, which plan you’ve chosen to use, the payment gateway that processed the payment, and any additional paid features you are using. For more help with this it’s best to contact our support team through the Help Center here. While we can’t see your payout or account information here over the Shopify Community, if you contact us through the Help Center we can review this with you in more detail. In the meantime, this guide on reviewing your Shopify bills can help you find more context on these charges. This guide outlining various charges you may encounter using Shopify can help as well.
