I’ve had a Shopify store since 2021. It is an online shop and I have difficulty getting sales over $10,000/year. I know, that’s pretty sad. What can we all do to get more eyes on our Shopify store?
It’s not sad at all. Running a business is tough and only being a few years old in a very competitive ecommerce world is even tougher. Getting eyeballs relates to identifying your core demographic and speaking directly to them - both online and in-person. Getting out in your local community could be an option, but also creating content and leveraging some good influencers could assist. Take a good look at your business and its profitability - with and without your time included to run it. Do you communicate with your customers? Do you have a subscription service built in? What is your user interface like - is it easy for customers to navigate, add to cart, and purchase from your site? Do a deep dive on your business fundamentals and you might identify some areas for improvement or adjustment.
