We are looking at selling multiple products in a set. We want the set to come with default products for example: A set with products B (QTY 8), C (QTY 1), and F (QTY 4). We need it to be customizable on the customers end. We want them to be able to change the QTY, remove products they already have or add more products that are not included with the set by default. We have looked around at a few apps but haven’t found anything that fits the bill. Does anyone recommend any app? Our whole goal here is to provide free online plans and to be able to sell the items in the plan, So that way the customer doesn’t have to go hunting for each individual product and making sure that they have the correct ones or the right amount. These sets can include anywhere between 5-200 items and this would be a huge for us and for our customers.

If the quantity can be changed, items can be added or removed from the set. How does the price change accordingly?

The price would be adjusted to the items added or removed by how much the item cost. I guess we don’t need an option to add new items, just the ability remove some items or to change the quantity of items listed in the set. I do not have a sample page however just basically think of an image of the set on the left and a list of items on the right that you could change the quantity of, or a image of the set with a list of items under it that you could change the quantity of. We can work out the appearance later on to some extend, mostly looking for functionality or the code at this point.
Let me give another example. Let’s say you want to build a deck and you find many blueprints for different styles of decks. You pick a blueprint and it gives you a list of items or tools (products) that you need to build this deck, however you have some of the tools or wood already so you don’t need to buy everything, or maybe you just don’t like the type of wood being used and would like to exchange it for something else. You customize the list (products) and add it to your cart. It makes it easier for the customer as they don’t have to hunt down everything that they need.
Does this make more sense? I apologize for being so vague earlier.
Maybe there is another solution to this problem that I may just be overthinking.

I am curious if you came up with a solution. I am looking for the same. We want to have a defined default bundle where customer has the option to change the variants in the bundle. Have not fund an app that allows that yet. What did you do?
