New development stores are not visible in store list

I created a new development store for my account and its not appearing in the store selection list,

Also whenever I try to run my app on the specific new store I am getting the following error:

You can't use Shopify CLI with development stores if you only have Partner staff member access. 
If you want to use Shopify CLI to work on a development store, then you should be the store owner or create a staff account on the store.

If you're the store owner, then you need to log in to the store directly using the store URL at 
least once (for example, using priceexplorerteststore-dev.myshopify.com/admin) before you log in 
using Shopify CLI. Logging in to the Shopify admin directly connects the development store with 
your Shopify login.

  • The new store is a development store.

  • I am the store owner

I have the same issue. I create a store in the developer account, and it doesn’t show up on the store list in the shopify.com login. Of course, the CLI doesn’t recognize me as the owner.

Bumping this issue. Did you ever find a solution to this?

Okay I have found the solution, for me at least. Before a dev store can appear in the list you must first log in to the storefront directly using the shop password. It’s not enough to simply log-in to the admin page for the shop.
