New store for digital product?

Hello! I already have a shopify store for my ecommerce business. I have a new digital product offering (completely separate to my ecommerce business) I want to create the landing page and selling experience through shopify (instagram will be my main traffic funnel.) What’s best practice for setting up a new one? Ideally I’d like to easily toggle between them daily without relogging in etc, but I also don’t want to mix the products up! Thank you!

To create the landing page, you can consider using apps like Shogun, PageFly, or Zipify Landing Page Builder to create custom landing pages without needing to code. These apps often provide more flexibility and features for creating a high-converting landing page.

To avoid mixing products, you can use different landing pages for different product categories and clearly segment them in your store. Or, create separate collection pages for each category and direct users from specific Instagram posts or ads to these targeted pages.

You definitely do not need build a whole new store for your digital products, @whitedaisyuk ! You can instead add these digital products to your store as you would have any other products! If you wanted to help ‘differentiate’ between these products, you could consider creating a new product page template for your digital products, and assign that specific template to these digital products!

Hi Imogen - the new digital product is completely separate to the physical products. How would I handle that?

when you say completely separate, do you mean a completely different product line? If so, and you think your digital products should have their own site, then you can definitely open a new site.

Yes, completely separate! Not related. Would I need to set an entire new shopify account up for the new digitial product? (My current shopify is physical ecommerce).

Yes, you would have to set up a whole new store, but you can use your same email (account) so that you can jump between stores through your admin easily. -Emily
