  • How much content (word count, for example) does a newsletter ideally contain?

Thanks for the question! If you’re a content-forward brand (meaning your audience is coming to you for your content at least as much as it is coming to purchase your products), then you can go longer in your newsletter. Newsletters, by nature, can be longer than your transactional or product marketing emails. They often tend to illustrate some additional aspect of your brand beyond a purchase.

Your newsletter can have promotional aspects, but it should try to deliver unique content that your subscribers won’t find in other areas of your site or in other emails you send them.
