I’m currently using one of Shopify’s newly released themes — Tinker.
I noticed that the latest version is v2.0.0, but there’s no update notification, and it seems we can’t upgrade it through the usual method.
Are we supposed to migrate the changes manually?

Have you imported this theme into Shopify?
It isn’t always present, especially if a theme has code modifications.
I agree this is a horrible way to do the update. I have been working on a tinker 1.0.5 for a while working on a total rebuild of my entire site, and now with Tinker 2.0 I have to go though and recreate my entire site/layout again fresh?
Pretty terrible.
