Non-embedded apps with theme app extensions

Theme app extensions automatically create a link in the theme editor settings when you add an app block that points to called “Manage app”:

https://{shop}.myshopify.com/admin/apps/{app-name}

However, for non-embedded apps the previous URL leads to the app trying to load as an iframe, which since it’s not embedded obvously doesn’t work.

Is this an oversight or am I missing something there?

I face the same issue, did you get any idea for resolving that?

Nope, but I’m in touch with Shopify support about this. I will update when I hear back.
