Open Shopify site as iframe in external site

We’re trying to help our client on opening their Shopify site into their other external institutional site, but it’s saying it’s refusing to connect.

Is it possible to edit Shopify’s headers to enable iframe embedding? Is it related to Access-Control-Allow-Origin?

Thanks for the reply! Do you know what is the path or setting page to edit it?

I tried searching about embedding Shopify to an external site, but all the information is about embedding external sites to Shopify. Is it really possible to open a Shopify site as an iframe on another external site?

It seems that’s not possible, can someone confirm that?

At the Shopify admin panel, you need to enter Online Store > Themes. · Here you need to find your theme and press Actions > Edit code.

Hello @jhonalbert , unfortunately, it seems there’s no code to be added that will remove Shopify’s restrictions on embedding pages into other sites as an iframe. I believe the solution is to use Shopify’s native solution by creating a new “Sales Channel” and activating a “Buy Button”.

I’m having the same problem. Will the buy button somehow pass through an affiliate number to associate sales coming from that site that the buy button is on?
