A speed score of 16 means your store is slower than similar stores on Shopify.
I’ve just seen this come up on our shopify dashboard. If anyone has any advice or services to help us with our speed score then we would love to hear from you.
Hi - Given your homepage has quite a lot of images on it and it loads quite a few 3rd party apps that you’ve installed, I don’t think your page speed is that bad considering.
The big culprits that slow your site down are images & apps.
So minimize your image sizes as much as possible (two apps that do this for you are CrushPics & Bulk Image Edit)
It’s a trade off re what apps you think are adding enough value to justify the overhead. For example that daily deals countdown timer is quite heavy but all it’s doing is telling me your daily deals end at midnight, you could just tell the customer that deals end at midnight. But maybe having it as a timer is worth the load time.
Two different tools to help you analyze your page speed in more detail are https://gtmetrix.com/ and https://tools.pingdom.com/ (I checked your site on both, hence why I opened with I don’t think it’s too bad considering)
Once you’ve dealt with the above there are then various more technical things you can do re only loading apps when they are needed, minifying JS, CSS etc.
