Out of stock on product page (Dawn Theme)

I am using Down Theme, I want help regarding (out of stock) inside the products page, when there is a specific size that is not available, I want the customer not to be able to choose it or changing the font color to a light color that makes it appear that it is not available.

Please check the attached picture, I choose one of my products that the size 35-36 is not available (out of stock) but the customers are still able to select the size, but in the down its showing that this size is SOLD OUT.

How I can make the sold-out also on the size column (mean with the mentioned size 35-36) so the customer can’t select it.

@nanzbee - we will need code editing for it, we need to check when option is selected whether it has stock and if no then change color.

While Dawn will disable that in the html https://github.com/Shopify/dawn/blob/main/sections/main-product.liquid#L262

But it will only behave that way when javascript is disabled(see screenshot)

Javascript then later builds new dropdowns() and uses logic to update the text of the add-to-cart button to communicate to customers the state of different options. Hi @nanzbee For most other Shopify themes there is a basic tutorial, though Dawn is not listed https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/os/customize/hide-sold-out-variants You could try the code out of there and put in in a custom code section or custom liquid section in Dawn, remembering to wrap in a tag pair But I not think it’s compatable out of the box and would need some work. No, this thing is not compatible with me, I don’t want it like that, I want the same list “EU Size” out of stock to be like a highlight that the customer can’t able to select it.

I think you should hire some expert code developer to do this task,it is
not as easy as it seems, i tried code but it did not work, sorry for this.
