Main issue: First “real” order appears as “Test order” because the payment gateway was in test mode. After turning test mode off, no payment shows, and the merchant asks if funds will capture on dispatch or if further action is needed.
Clarification: Orders created in test mode are simulated; no real charge or payout occurs. Disabling test mode afterward does not convert that order into a paid transaction. Fulfilling/dispatching the test order will not collect payment.

Hi, I recieved today my first real order but when I clicked on the order I got the following message: “Test order”. “Your payment gateway was in test mode when this order was created”
I have turned off the test mode now but nothing shows in my payment section
Do I still need to change anything? or payment will proceed when order will be dispatched

It sounds like the user placed an order while your account was using the test mode in your payment gateway. This means it wasn’t a real transaction. I would recommend getting in touch with the customer in order to encourage them to place a new order now that your store is off test mode.
