PayPal checkout for this store is currently experiencing problems. Please try another payment method

I have launched my store

paid for subscription

connect PayPal business account

but when im trying to by something from my store it shows problem message

“PayPal checkout for this store is currently experiencing problems. Please try another payment method.”

So how can I solve it?

same here - customer complained they can’t use the paypal on our website and advised to use a different method. Shopify said to disconnect and reconnect paypal app - still not working. Spent 2 hrs on the phone with Paypal - they don’t know what it is. Logged it with their technical team now and waiting for resolution - hopefully shortly! What a mess!

This is still not fixed. I have about 5% of customers who cannot get the blue button to work after logging in to paypal. I have checked the “encrypted payment” is turned off as mentioned in another thread, and this has always been off on mine, so that’s not it.
