Hello, new to Shopify. I’m migrating here from Wordpress due to traffic issues on my website when launching batches of my product.

I’m trying to do something that seems like it should be simple, but I still haven’t figured it out.

I have four Products. I want to make a new product listing that allows the customer to pick any two out of the four for a fixed discounted price. And I need it to pull from the same inventory as the individual products.

I’ve tried half a dozen bundle apps. None of them do it. Half of them don’t even create a new product, they just create an upsell.

If there was a way to tie variants into the inventory that would work, but I don’t see a way to do that either.

Any info would be appreciated, my next batch launch is waiting for me to get this site up and running.

Which app have you tried? Have you set up bundle rules?

If it’s feasible for you to create a variant for all combinations then Fusion Inventory will be perfect. Check out our User Guide to see if it can for you.

Hello there,

We have a solution for your use case, using our Lock On app you can easily apply a fixed discount on a collection. In this case, you have to make a collection of 2 products each. You can also decide to apply different discounts on different collections of 2 products.

Whenever a user proceeds to checkout with the relevant products, our application will automatically match a collection, and a decided discount will be granted to the user. This approach will also help you with your existing approach to pull from the same inventory as the individual products.

To meet your needs, you might need to use more than one app.

You can use both the Easify Product Options and Easify Inventory Sync apps to achieve your goals :blush: :

  1. First, create duplicates of your 4 products with a price of $0.00.

  2. Next, use the Easify Product Options app to set up options that allow customers to choose 2 out of the 4 products. Link each option to the $0.00 duplicates for selection.

  3. Finally, use the Easify Inventory Sync app to synchronize inventory between the Original products (sold individually) and the Duplicates (add-on products).
