as commented on https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/build/pos/recommendations-legacy, “POS product recommendations extensions are being phased out in 2025. We recommend building with POS UI extensions instead.”
However, after taking a look on POS UI extensions, it seems that there is no a specific extension for recommendations. Does this mean that the POS recommendations tool is simply going to be removed?
