Prestige Theme slide show image clickable

Hello Everyone,

I am wondering how i can get the image in the slide show clickable.

It will be so nice if you give me the code specially for prestige theme since i’ve tried other code for other theme and it didn’t work.

Thank you in advance for your responses !

@Emmanuelle123 ,

  1. In your Shopify Admin go to online store > themes > actions > edit code
  2. In your theme.liquid file, find the (press CTRL + F or command + F on Mac)
  3. paste this code right above the tag:

There are also copy/paste Slideshow sections like this one that allow clickable images & also make images not cut off, avoiding problems like this:

I hope it helps.

Kind regards,
Diego

Hello @diego_ezfy ,

Thank you very much for your response, i’ve paste your code just above the tag*,* and the image became clickable !

However, i would like to know how i can change the land page ? Right now it is a defaut page and i want to make image link to the same page as the button does.

Thank you again for your response and hope you can help me again.

Hi Emmanuelle123 - just putting this information out there, because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the code for this exact problem in prestige. I contacted the developer of the theme and their reply was surprisingly simple:

“What you will need to do is set a value for the “Button 1 link” AND leave the “Button 1 text” setting empty. By doing so, the whole slideshow will become clickable”

The value is the link. While trying this script, I had a similar problem with the landing page of clicking clickable image link. It would only link to one out of three slides… But okay, with this solution there is no actual need to recode the whole thing. However, you lose the opportunity to have a button.

Hope this helps someone :slightly_smiling_face:
