Price different products using different currencies

We have a single store that hosts multiple products that we sell in different countries. We want those products in a single place for ease of mgmt and cost savings (multiple stores cost a lot of money, not only from Shopify but also for maintenance, etc).

We only show appropriate products for a given country. Note, the same product is NEVER sold in a different country. Each country has its own list of completely different products. We need those products to be priced and use a different currency for display and transaction. Can we do that? Can we assign a currency to a product?

We have checked your issue and have come up with the following solution.

To enable different product prices with different currencies follow the below steps:

  1. You have to categorize products and add a country-specific tag to the product where you want to sell, for eg - if you want to sell in Spain then you have to add the product tag- Spain.
  2. That will filter the products by current location and will show all products in the country where the store is available.
  3. You can get the current location by storing JSON data (Refer to Image)
  4. For changing currency you have to use a currency app that supports an auto currency converter.
  5. If you want the same currency at checkout also, then Shopify payment should be enabled which should be supported in your country.

A currency selector enables your customers to select their local currency. Most themes don’t include a currency selector for selling in multiple currencies. You can use the Geolocation app to add a currency selector, or you can work with a Shopify partner to add a currency selector to your theme. By default, the Geolocation app is installed for you when you add your first country or region.
