I’m on the free DSers plan. My supplier ran out of inventory and I added a new AliExpress supplier on DSErs using Basic Mapping. Everything seems to be fine on DSers, the correct quantity is showing. However, the product quantity in my Shopify store hasn’t updated. It is still showing zero. I updated product SKUs and chose “DSers fulfillment” for the product. Do I have to update the quantity manually in my Shopify store?
Topic summary
Main issue: After switching to a new AliExpress supplier via DSers, Shopify’s product quantity remains at zero even though DSers shows the correct stock.
Context:
- User is on the free DSers plan and used Basic Mapping (linking product variants to a new supplier).
- Actions taken: updated product SKUs and set the product to “DSers fulfillment.”
- DSers displays correct inventory; Shopify does not reflect it.
Key question: Does DSers automatically sync inventory quantities to Shopify after Basic Mapping, or must the merchant update Shopify stock manually?
Additional input: A second participant reports the same issue and asks whether a resolution was found.
Status: No solution or official guidance provided in the thread. The discussion remains open with the primary uncertainty around inventory sync behavior between DSers and Shopify under these settings (free plan, Basic Mapping). No attachments or images are central to understanding.
