Redirect buyer after purchase on single product

Have multiple products on store.

What I want to do is redirect all purchasers of a single product to a custom URL automatically after purchase. Let’s call that product ‘coaching’

And I want all other product purchases to go through the normal Shopify process as they do now.

Application: i’m allowing my customers to buy 1 product that allows the to ask questions for my feedback. They go to store, buy ‘coaching’ product, checkout, pay, and complete transaction. Immediately after purchase is complete I want to automatically redirect them to a page with a questionnaire.

How do I do this?

This can be done via custom dev on the theme, but the question is what will happen when user place order with multiple products which also contains your product.

Due to nature of this product and how it will be marketed, multiple product purchases will be very rare.

So you say it’s possible on the theme. How complicated is the code? Where can I find a generic code to modify? What file would it go into?

You have to edit main-product.liquid, your cart page don’t know the file name.

It must be cart-footer.liquid and success page

For that you have to write custom script code.
