Analytics isn’t real time and I need to refresh the page everyime I need the updated stats. There should be an option to do the refresh in-line inside Shopify (similar to Gmail). Otherwise, the data should update in real-time.

Yeah, that’s a valid frustration. Shopify’s Analytics dashboard doesn’t update in real-time, and having to refresh the whole page every time is inefficient. A refresh button (like in Gmail) or automatic real-time updates would be a great improvement.
If you need more up-to-date stats, you could try:
1.Using Shopify Live View – It updates more frequently, though it’s limited in detail.
2.Third-party analytics apps – Some apps offer more real-time tracking.
3.A Shopify Script/Extension – If you’re comfortable with custom solutions, you might be able to inject a refresh button via a browser extension or Shopify’s Admin API.

Shopify’s Analytics dashboard doesn’t update in real-time, so here are some workaround:
- The only way to get updated stats is by refreshing the page manually.
- If you need real-time data on orders and traffic, try using the Live View dashboard under “Analytics” → “Live View.”
- Using third-part apps like Lifetimely or Conversific to provide more real-time analytics and custom reporting
