I wanted to have a different banner for the mobile version of my website as my desktop one looks awful on mobile.

If you want to separate the mobile banner from the desktop banner, follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Online Store → Themes → Edit Code.
Step 2: Search for the file slideshow.liquid.
Step 3: Replace all the existing code with the code provided above.
