Hey @Cmeer this is possible but need to add this code in Locale file. Basically Locale file is responsible to translate the text in Shopify. To do this you need to go each locale file and paste the block or section code where you want. Then you have to write in all the languages you want. It maybe Dutch, English, French or what you want.
If you are not familiar with theme coding then just reach me out I will fix it.
Thanks
Hi Qasim,
Thank you for your help! I had a look at the locale files at the webshop theme > edit code but canât seem to find sentences like âChanged my mindâ.
Heyy! Same problem. Did you manage to fix this?
Hello!
No i did not find a solultion. Someone from the forum did take a look. You can view the code of the theme (webshop > 3 dots beside theme name > edit code) in there are files with translations (locale), but the sentences we are looking for are not there.
I think those lines are baked into the Shopify code, which we can not change.
I hope someone from Shopify reads this and makes the return reasons editable.
Heyy! Thanks for answering!
The âEdit codeâ > âLocalesâ folder shows the same content as the âTranslate & Adaptâ appâin fact, the app pulls text from that code. And what you see there is for the old customer accounts. So thatâs definitely not the way to correct it.
I contacted support, and it was 100% useless, to say the least. Iâm pasting the middle part of the conversation here. It was a terrible waste of time, but for anyone searchingâhere it is, so you donât waste yours. I also asked about translating login page and login email.
Iâm going to switch back to the âold customer accountâ and test whether the âreturnsâ functionality is available. If itâs not, Iâll disregard it and ask customers to handle returns manually. At least, if I remember correctly, you can edit the login/register page there. But additional edits are needed to add an âaccept termsâ checkbox, etc., to comply with GDPR in Europe.
My biggest wish for Shopify is to focus a bit more on Europe and implement just the most basic solutions we needânot even want, but must have.
