I’m looking for a review app for reviews of my shop, not my products. I offer hand made goods, and will have hundreds of fabrics to choose from, most of which will not be reviewed. A customer may choose 5 fabrics for their items, but only want to leave a general review of their purchase. Is there an app that will show all of my reviews in a widget, on each page? Like a bottom corner pop up or something?

I think you might have more luck searching the Shopify App Store for “testimonials” rather than “reviews”. You’ll still see some results for apps that offer product reviews, but this search term provides options for store reviews too. Here are a few to check out:
- Customer.guru Net Promoter NPS: this app offers both testimonials and product reviews, collecting customer feedback through survey responses
- Google Reviews by Reputon: a great option if you’re collecting testimonials outside of your online store on Google
- Facebook Reviews: if your business has a Facebook page, this app allows you to import reviews that customers left on Facebook
- Social Testimonial Slider: this one integrates reviews from Google, Facebook & Yelp
Apps are likely the most efficient option if you have a large amount of reviews. Depending on the volume of reviews you receive, you might also consider setting up a free survey through a tool like Google Forms, SurveyMonkey or Typeform, and then manually adding reviews to your online store using a theme section like Rich text, Image with text or Multicolumn.
