My partner and I are planning to open an online shop using Shopify.
Currently, I live in the United States and my partner lives in China.
I am curious will there be any problems with it if we constantly log in to our shop in different countries?
My partner probably will use one of the staff accounts to do some web design work.

Using Shopify from different countries should be fine. Shopify is designed to be accessible and used globally, so you can log in and manage your online shop from different locations. You can easily log in from different locations using a Shopify partner account.

Great question! This is totally okay and not something to be worried about. The only concern that our systems might have is to confirm the business is located in the United States if there are sign ins from China on the account owner account, especially if you are using region dependent features like Shopify Payments.
This would be proof of address documents, business license information and proof of identity of the account owner. It may not be requested, but I would recommend having those documents available upon request.
