Sales by the Hour during specific day of the week

Hello all.

I am trying to pull a report for staffing reasons. What I am looking to do is pull the year-to-date sales of a particular day (say a Saturday). Furthermore, I am interested in the average gross sales by each hour to determine when is best to have extra staff on schedule during our busy time of the day.

Has anyone pulled a report like this, or can someone point me in the right direction.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would recommend checking out the Mipler Advanced Reports app on the Shopify app store.
It offers a wide range of customizable reports, including reports with the information you’re looking for.

You will need a reporting tool for your requirement.

  1. In Report Pundit, You can quickly generate year to date report by selecting the “Year-to-date” option from the report date range
  2. You can choose the day you want to see the average gross sales and the number of orders in each hour
    You can create the above reports in a few steps. Use our 14-day trial to check out the reports.

We can create a year-to-date report by choosing the day of the week and even hours of the day if you need a specific hour range.

We can also create a custom measure showing the average gross sales per hour.
