Selling Plan Allocation error when attempting to use shopping cart

I’m at a loss. I’ve tried for a year to use Shopify with my Wordpress and it has literally never (not one time - not one single sale) worked correctly. As of yesterday, I discovered the shopping cart isn’t working at all.

This is the error message I receive:

Access denied for sellingPlanAllocation field. Required access: ‘unathenticated_read_selling_plans’ access scope.

I have no idea what this is or what I need to do and can’t seem to find anything online showing me what to do with the wpshopify app on Wordpress. Can anyone help? I’m literally at the point of ditching Shopify altogether after a year of paying for it and it not working. Please help me save a years’ worth of work.

I have the same issue

Any idea how to get help with the issue? Customer Service doesn’t seem to care much about helping.

I finally figured it out on my own. Go into your myshopify account. On the left about 1/3 of the way down is the word ‘Apps’. Click on it. On the right side of the screen at the top it will say ‘Develop Apps’ - click that. There will be at least one link that says WP Shopify. Click one of those. Scroll down until you find ‘Read Selling Plans’. Check that box. It’s at the bottom. I had 3 of the ‘WP Shopify’ links. I had to do all 3. Doing one didn’t work and neither did doing 2. Then I had to log out of both Shopify and Wordpress and then log back in. I can now put things in the cart but unfortunately, I still can’t check out. The ‘Begin Checkout’ link won’t highlight although I can click it. It takes me to a page that says, “Oops! That page can’t be found.” So I’ve fixed one problem but now have another. Figures. Anyway…thought I’d help you fix yours. Maybe I’ll get lucky and someone will help me fix this other problem.

When I click on my ‘Add to Cart’ button this comes up and I can’t checkout at all - Access denied for sellingPlanAllocation field. Required access: unauthenticated_read_selling_plans access scope.

Can someone HELP me?

Where do you find Customer Service???

I tried every chat or email I could find. I never got a response back but
it looked like Shopify took over the WP app and they wouldn’t respond
either. So…as far as I can tell there is no one responding to issues.

I ended up just going back and inserting a backup version of the site. That worked beautifully!

Thanks for your response - Good Luck!
