I need help with customers visiting my store. I have a domain and It’s not quite ready yet, however from my research. I discovered I can also login without using a domain name for now by using your company name-myshopify.com. I try that and that does not even work. It brings me right back to the company who is holding my domain name currently. I’m so lost at this point. I’ve done everything right I taught. My store states its active and I am live so I don’t understand at this point. I can’t login to see my store as a customer and it’s very frustrating especially when I can’t speak to anyone on the phone to help me solve my problem. Can any one help or have some ideas for me. Communicate in clear steps, provide actual real inspectable examples.
Otherwise is handwaving guesswork that wastes everyone’s time.

Adding a domain to a myshopify url can take ~72 hours to propagate and connect worldwide that’s just how the internet works.
When you say “brings me right back to the company who is holding my domain name currently”
That’s nonsensical as either you own the domain name or you don’t; or you are using the wrong words or just omitting critical detail.
Take a step back and wait a day and read the friendly manual
