Hello,
For my store, I have some tax-exempt customers, including customers outside the EU and customers that I have chosen. I would like the price after taxes within the EU to be for example 22.95 for normal customers and 19.65 for exempt customers. But for my normal customers in Austria, my prices after taxes are increased by the tax change between Germany (20%) and Austria (21%). Would it be possible, for the net price to change according to the location of the customer if he has no exemption? So that the customers always have a final price without shipping of 22.95.
Hopefully, there is an easy work around for this. That would be very helpful.
Or maybe there is a shopify app that can do this?
Hello Andres @andres_demirden To guide yourself in setting prices according to particular locations, I highly recommend that you check out this official Shopify guide here https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/international/pricing/product-prices-by-country

Hi, I understand that tax exemptions and VAT variations can be difficult.
But don’t worry about it! You wish the non-exempt European clients to pay 22. 95 (tax in) & those from exempt groups 19. 65 (net) due to the fact that the net prices move because of the VAT which is at 20% in Austria and at 19% in Germany on cost price!.
The standard tax settings for Shopify are not able to make a complete readjustment but there is a solution:
— Shopify Setup: Turn on “tax included” within settings, then set exempt customers under Taxes within Customers.
— App Solution: Experiment with Exemptify as it accounts for EU VAT. It can also modify gross prices based on where buyers are situated then lock $22. 95 while indicating $19. 65. Try this feature.
You are so close - put in Exemptify, adjust it a little bit & see how your store will glow with uniform pricing.
