We have been setting up our Shopify store and all was set - apple pay was selected and working during the tests. Apple pay and all other payment credit cards are active on Stripe.
However, through stripe app on shopify the only options were Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Apple Pay. There is a few other payment cards not listed such as Union, Discover etc.
Now Apple Pay is no longer able to be selected. Shopify refused the issue as usual (seems to be the main concern and point fingers with Stripe) - we checked with Stripe and set up our own payment link, page and all cards and apple pay are available options.
So now Shopify have informed us Apple Pay may have been revoked. This is an issue with Shopify - to be honest I would rather not restart but my experience with Shopify has been the worst every and especially they are charging a premium in addition to % commissions, so am considering this literally. Have placed a freeze on any Shopify payments from the card registered.
Has anyone been able to resolve these issues with a UAE based store? To note, Shopify recommended we set up in UAE as the majority of the customers would be there and it would limit charges (international) apparently.
Any one have any updates?
