Hi everyone,
I’ve been waiting 9 days for Shopify to change my business type so I can open my store. I’ve been following up with support almost every day. Each time I’m told it’s been “escalated,” but I haven’t received any confirmation that it’s actually being worked on or when it might be resolved.
Support originally told me it would take 3–5 days, but there’s been no update or timeline since. I’m currently unable to launch my business because of this delay.

Can a moderator or Shopify staff member please check if this request is with the correct team (Account Operations or Risk) and confirm that it’s being actioned? Any update would really help, as this is preventing me from opening my store.
