Shopify Dawn Theme Social Media Links not Working

Hello,

I’ve used the Dawn shopify theme to set up my website. I’m not very tech-savvy, but I’m pretty sure there’s something wrong with the code for the theme because when I click to go to my social media links it is not working?

Rather than going directly to my instagram or twitter it goes the link start off with

WEBSITENAME.myshopify.com/instagram.com/INSTAGRAMHANDLE

Does anyone have any advise on how to fix this?

You should paste the links with a “https://” infront of it. You can’t just paste “liam bandz (@handle) • Instagram photos and videos”

it should be “https://instagram.com/handle”
