Hello, so about 6-8 weeks ago Shopify made some background changes that caused serious issues with the way photos upload to product pages. Now, when selecting a photo to attach to a product variant- if there were already photos/variants- the photo selector brings up the most recently added photos all mixed up at random and not in order. Even if you sort by date. The system is now picking up on the time they uploaded off the memory card but seemingly only when trying to attach a photo to a variant. Except recently, one time it also even uploaded the photos all mixed up and I then had to manually sort them all. Example I have photos 1 though 10 and upload them but they appear in order like this 2-5-1-9-6-4-3-10-7 etc. It is a MAJOR issue and caused by Shopify’s recent UI changes. Yet they now REFUSE to fix it! Anyone else dealing with this? How do we force their hand they cannot just ignore this!

It makes adding inventory to our unique products with each one being a newly-created variant with a new photo, impossible. There’s no work around, either. Like naming each photo would take hours per week of my time.
